Install in 3 steps

About two minutes from download to your first fast download.

  1. Download and run the installer

    Get EziDownloadManager-Setup-1.0.0.exe and follow the setup.

    If Windows SmartScreen says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. New apps often get this warning at first.

  2. Turn on the browser extension

    After install, EDM opens a short guide. Add the extension to Chrome, Edge, Brave or Firefox so browser downloads and videos go to EDM.

    Download as usual in your browser, click the Download button on a video, or copy a link. EDM takes it from there.

Questions, answered

How does the free trial work?

Every new install gets 3 days with every Pro feature. No card and no account needed. When the trial ends, EDM keeps working as the Free version: file downloads with 4 connections and video up to 720p.

Can I use one license on two PCs?

Every license is for 1 PC at a time. To move it to a new PC, open Settings → License → Remove from this PC on the old one, then activate the same key on the new PC.

Does EDM need to be online all the time?

No. You need internet to download, of course, and to start the trial or activate a key. EDM keeps a signed copy of your license on your PC and refreshes it from time to time when you are online, so it does not have to check in every time you open it.

What does EDM send to Ezitech?

Only your license key and an anonymous hash that identifies your PC, so our license server can check your trial or license. There is no account and no analytics. Your downloads, history and settings stay on your PC. Read the privacy policy.

How can I pay?

By bank transfer to our Meezan Bank account, from any bank app, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Upload the payment screenshot on the checkout page and we email your activation code after checking it, usually within a few hours. If you buy from inside EDM, the app turns Pro by itself once the payment is approved.

Can I get a refund?

Our refund policy explains when refunds apply. Email help@ezitech.org with your order number and we will help.

Windows or my antivirus warns about the installer. Is it safe?

New software is often marked as unknown until it builds a reputation. If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. Only download EDM from edm.ezitech.org. If your antivirus flags it, email help@ezitech.org so we can report it as a false positive.

Is it legal to download YouTube videos with EDM?

EDM is a tool, and you are responsible for what you download. Only download videos you own or have permission to download, and respect each site's terms and copyright. EDM does not download from DRM-protected services such as Netflix, Spotify or Prime Video. See the EULA.

Is there a Mac version?

Not yet. EDM runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). A macOS version is coming soon.

Which browsers does the extension work with?

Chrome, Edge and Brave (Manifest V3), and Firefox. If EDM is closed, your browser simply downloads the file itself. See the extension setup guide.
